The MV Ever Given got stuck in the waterway during high winds, according to its operator. The canal’s authorities are working to free the ship, as a backlog of other vessels has built up north and south of the blockage. Also today, Amazon warehouse workers and delivery drivers in Italy have staged a 24-hour strike over their working conditions.
