fr24news– We may have seen the end of the line for Manny Pacquiao tonight, as the legendary fighter was fairly beaten by WBA welterweight titlist Yordenis Ugas.
Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) didn’t say he would retire, and he was still competitive enough to go the 12-round distance, but he also didn’t have a real argument for win, and Manny doesn’t hit anyone like the kind of guy who just wants to hang out, and if he can’t beat Ugas (27-4, 12 KOs) anymore, it’s hard to imagine him beating Errol Spence Jr or Terence Crawford no more.
If that was the case for Manny, he comes out with a worthy effort against a very good fighter, and Manny still looked like a sort of top 10 welterweight, but there are some guys that just won’t be enough. If Manny Pacquiao can’t convince himself that he’s still the best in his class – and it would be tough after tonight – would he want to keep fighting?
